Wilson’s Pipe Fabrication is a leading supplier of specialised welding services to the Australian Oil & Gas Industry and the Resources Sector.

WPF employs a range of specialised qualified welders with the ability to weld carbon, low alloy steels, Copper-Nickel (CuNi) alloys, austenitic, duplex and super duplex stainless steels and nickel-based alloys.  Welding can be done to ASME, AWS D1.1, API, NACE MR0175, AS2885 and other Australian standards. WPF have accumulated a large range of welding procedures to cover most standard and specialised requirements.

Besides the general pipe spooling & fabrication work, capabilities include specialised TIG welding, plate work, chute work, tanks, pressure vessels, tube bundles, skid assemblies, offshore capital drilling equipment, subsea structures, topsides structures and ROV tool welding.

WPF is also experienced in submerged arc welding of tubular materials such as marine drilling risers, structural and conductor casing and pipeline welding, including “hot tap” welding on live gas pipelines. Inlay welding and weld build ups using parent metal or corrosion resistant alloys such as Inconel 625 is done using a semi-automatic TIG process.

WPF employ a full time Welding Technologist with vast experience in the welding of Oil & Gas type equipment.

Clients include offshore and onshore Oil & Gas Producers, Exploration Companies, Subsea Service Companies, OEMs and Drilling Contractors.
